     James Grondin has worked as a Trades Teacher in the Education sector for 17 years and has been a resident of St. Albert for the last 10 years. Previous to that working as a Journeyperson Machinist.

     Holding a variety of roles and titles such as 

  • Elected as a negotiator for our local teacher's union 

  • A member of the ATA's professional conduct committee, currently under attack via Bill 15. There are 45 000 teachers in the province and only 30 are selected.  

  • Chair of our school division joint work health and safety committee.

     James will continue to fight and represent people. The first thing their friends and family will tell you is that James is relatable and positive. James has never forgotten where they came from as a Journeyperson Machinist or whom he is been fighting for. Committed to change in our world, James Grondin has set his standards high, and will not stop until we have a government that puts people first.
